What is StorageCraft?

So What is StorageCraft ShadowProtect SPX?

The first five iterations of ShadowProtect were denoted by numbers (ShadowProtect 1, 2, 3, etc). The sixth version is referred to as ShadowProtect SPX. After you install ShadowProtect SPX on your desktop, laptop, or server you can rest assured that your applications, operating system, settings, services, and data will be protected in the event of unforeseen data loss.
ShadowProtect SPX creates files that represent a point-in-time backup of a Microsoft Windows or Linux volume, regardless of whether it is virtual or physical. ShadowProtect backups provide broad hypervisor support, including: VMware ESXi/ESX, Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, Microsoft Hyper-V, as well as additional hypervisors. StorageCraft ShadowProtect also enables users to easily replicate backups to a number of remote environments, such as: a remote server, a third party cloud, a private cloud, the StorageCraft cloud, or a local device.

ShadowProtect Server, Desktop, Small Business, and Virtual Editions
